As an Academy, we are committed to provide the child with the
opportunity to learn through play. We believe that quality childcare
facilities the healthy growth and development of the total child.
The children need to be and feel secure, safe and happy in an
atmosphere especially created to help him/her develop to his/her
full potential. They need to experience play and learning with
other children who are at the same developmental age and participate
in a program covering the area of intellectual, physical, social
and emotional growth. We provide structured activities, which
provide guidance, and activities which are not structured, which
provide free independence and expression. |

We believe that the childcare program must blend and enhance
the child’s family experiences in the Academy.
We believe that encouraging participation by the child’s
family can offer a quality experience for each child.
We believe that the childcare staff, are able to offer
support and encouragement to families and that quality
child care requires staff who are trained, and have a
commitment to the child’s family.
We believe the Early Childhood Education staff, are advocates
for the young child and his/her family. |
