Registration Policies

Thank you for choosing Mini Mania Childcare Academy. Please read the following carefully before submitting your application.

Registration Procedures

Please submit the completed registration package with a non-refundable registration fee of $100.00 This registration fee is a one-time fee per family. A security deposit of $200.00, must also be submitted at the time of Registration. This $200.00 security deposit will be deducted from your last month payment. Should you not follow Academy's termination of care policies, this $200.00 will not be refunded. Please refer to pages 9, 22 and 29. The first months payment is required upon registration, dated for the current date, and is also non refundable.
Acceptance at Mini Mania is conditional upon the completion of the requested documents and the payment od all subsequent fees, paid by post dated cheques, before the child attends school.
The Director reserves the right to dismiss any pupil/parent who does not comply with the Policies and Procedures of the Academy.

Payment of Fees

Cheques may be made payable to MINI MANIA CHILDCARE ACADEMY with the child's name printed clearly on the front of each cheque. The first months payment MUST be donated for the date of REGISTRATION, not day of enrollment. Please see Cancellation Policy.

Cancellation Policy

Upon enrollment in the Academy, in addition to the Registration Fee, mini Mania requires a deposit od the amount od the first months dues, dated for the current date.
Cancellation of Space:
* 90-60 days prior to the start date - Academy holds $100
* 60-30 days prior to the start date - Academy holds $150
* 30 days prior to the start date - Academy holds $250
* Less than 30 days prior to the start date - NO REFUND

Payment Options

The total fees must be paid before the child starts school by:

Option 1
• One payment per year
• 5% discount applicable (Credit will be applied against your account prior to the School Year end.)
• Yearly payment due at time of enrollment
• * CHILD MUST BE ENROLLED FOR ENTIRE 12 MONTHS SCHOOL YEAR FOR DISCOUNT TO BE APPLICABLE

Option 2
• Non refundable payment of one months tuition fee at time of enrollment
• 3 post dated cheques dated for the first day of each month for 3 installments October, January, April (A 2% discount will be applied against your account prior to the School Year end.)

Option 3
• Monthly post dated cheques, dated for the first day of each month

There is a $35 processing fee for all NSF cheques or cheques returned for any other reason. Once a family has a history of any returned cheques, the following payments must be made by CERTIFIED cheque or CASH for the remainder of the school year.
Outstanding fees will be charged 1% every 15 days after the due date.

Family Discounts

A 10% discount is offered for the first additional sibling of a registered Mini Mania student (5% for any additional siblings).
(Discount only applies if children are registered for entire 12 month school year period, for 2-5 day enrollment)

The 5% discount for fees paid in full (1 CHEQUE FOR FULL AMOUNT) before the child attends school, ONLY applies if the child is enrolled for a minimum of 6 months in at least 2, 3 or 5 full days per week.

Receipts

Income tax receipts for tuition fees received by December 31, 2009, will be issued by February 2010. Each family will receive ONE income tax receipt. Any additional copies which are requested will be provided for a fee of $35.00.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds or credits given for a child's absence for any reason, besides the entitled vacation and/or sick days stated in the Academy's Parent Manual.
There is no refund of the registration fee, or first months payment, after the child has been accepted by the Academy. There is no refund of the $200 Security Deposit, if Policies have been breached.
With a MINIMUM 30 DAYS WRITTEN notice of the intended withdrawal (partial or total) all unearned tuition fees after these 30 days will be returned less the first month payment and the registration fee. The 5% discount for fees paid in full will no longer be valid and the refund will be determined as if full fees is owing.
